I have terrible knees and just weak joints overall. Swimming is okay but mostly I have Exercise ADD. You won't stick to it and go on a complete eating binge OR you will be miserable. Find foods that are healthy and give you energy - whole grains, veggies and fruit.<br />Second, I know you hate cardio but have you tried running? Put on some music and zone out. Maybe look for a local race to train for - that could really motivate you. A friend of mine just got married last month and to get in to shape we trained for a 20K together.
